Diamond Jubilee Window Shopping

June 1, 2012 by Angela Neal Grove

Harrods food hallThe flags are a-flutter above London streets, but it is at street level where the action is. ShopJubilee hose windows are all about The Jubilee. From food to clothes, from china to tea-towels, the windows follow just one theme.   Some are very elaborate.  Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge has gone all out with different vignettes. Inside Harrods food hall giant murals of London scenes decorate the walls. The shortbread, tea, china and pillows all look good but are practical, expected, standard fare. More eye-catching, cutting edge and perhaps a little OTT are these hose or shoes.    Not surprizing dogs from bulldogs to corgis are popular window props. TTFN
